The Katonah-Lewisboro Union Free School District will decide tonight on whether to appoint Paul Kreutzer as its superintendent. Kreutzer would come to the district from New Berlin, Wisc., and begin his duties July 1. In March, Kreutzer stood with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a Republican, at a press conference to support Walker’s efforts to eliminate collective bargaining for public employees, including teachers. Kreutzer has said his presence at Walker’s press conference represented the New Berlin Board of Education’s position on collective bargaining and that he would support such negotiations here.
