The Supreme Court is expected to issue an opinion this month on the Affordable Care Act, also known as health care overhaul, that President Obama signed in 2010. A key issue is whether the individual mandate (requiring a person to buy insurance or face a penalty) is constitutional.
Ask yourself if you really want to become a serf, to a government that can tell you what to eat, drink,
and whatever else they deem necessary. While they tell us how to live, they conveniently keep them selves above the laws they hold us to. I bet you’d see some common sense out of these elites if they had to abide by the laws they pass. Upholding the healthcare mandate would be another huge nail in
the freedom of the American people. 99% of the fools that voted for this piece of garbage don’t know what’s in the bill, and the fools that wrote it, probably forgot what they wrote.
What if every department store sold the same products sealed in a box, and you could only buy those items, but you couldn’t look in the box to see what you were buying? That’s the healthcare law. and the mandate. Welcome to socialism.
Tired of their rights and our requirements...
Socialism isn’t living in a country where your health is taken care of… why is it so hard for some folks to understand? Do we really want to live in a country where only the very rich (buy whatever coverage they want) or very poor (medicaid) can afford to take care of their health? Is that it, really? Then just say so.
I tend to think in a country as advanced as ours, there are a LOT of things we could cut back on to make healthcare really affordable. I do not think it’s right that people STILL die of curable diseases in this country, I do not think it’s right that some folks have to decide between bancrupcy and getting cured… and I Definitely do NOT think it’s right that someone with a 750,000. dollar house can “save” it for their kids, refuse to take care of their spouse and put them on medicaid while the working poor and middle class nickel and dime themselves out of healthcare.
We’re falling behind so many countries in so many ways… elder care, math scores, science abilities, kids schooling, defiinitely health care… is this the way we’ll go out? FLash in the pan….400 years and poof… only the rich will be left.
