I have commuted over the TZ off and on for many years. I don’t recall seeing buses on more than a handful of occasions. An HOV/bus lane during peak hours would be more rational and would promote ride sharing.”

I agree that an HOV/BRT lane may be appropriate, but you may be getting your cause and effect confused with respect to the number of buses you see. If they had their own lane and could zip past the congestion on the bridge, then I would imagine they would become a far more popular option among those who do not like sitting in traffic, thus increasing their frequency.”
