Trending on Twitter in the suburbs and the city this morning:
Tim Cook. The Apple CEO apologized in a letter for problems with its new Maps app. iPhone users have been complaining for more than a week about the app giving them wrong directions, pointing them to closed businesses and omitting some towns. One recent post on TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog) pokes fun at the Maps icon, saying following its directions would route drivers off an overpass near Apple headquarters.
Great PR move by Tim Cook, apologizing for the Maps messup #ios6.

Jobs never would have done this. Reality Distortion Field would have been dialed up to 10. ow.ly/e3Zak
