Watch a replay of Vice President Joe Biden’s “Fireside Hangout” discussion on gun violence from this afternoon:
During the event, Biden encouraged Americans to speak out on the issue of gun violence and demand change. “Make your voices heard,” he said in a call repeated from President Obama’s inaugural address Monday.
He also said he’s more concerned about limiting the number of rounds in a gun magazine than about banning assault weapons.
Google’s official blog previewed the Fireside Hangout, held on Google+ and YouTube, as “a 21st-century spin on FDR’s famous radio addresses” that brings “top Administration officials to Google+ to discuss the most important issues in the country, face-to-face-to-face with fellow citizens.”
The Hangout was moderated by PBS NewsHour correspondent Hari Sreenivasan.
